Frequently Asked Questions

DroneBot

Will I need help from an adult?

Yes , depending on your age and strength, you may need help from an adult.

I followed the instructions but my DroneBot does not turn on, what should I do?

This could be because of several reasons:

- Because your DroneBot is not sufficiently charged.

I therefore invite you to let it charge for a maximum of 110 minutes .

- Because the 4 small motors are not positioned alternately.

I therefore invite you to check that your 4 small motors are inserted alternately .

- Because the colored wires are not in the correct slots in the circuit.

I invite you to check that the black and white wires are in the white notches and that the red and blue wires are in the red notches . (Where there are 3 notches, you must use the middle red notch).

- Because the right propellers are not on the right engines.

I therefore invite you to check that propellers A are on motors A and that propellers B are on motors B.

- Because the battery cable is not connected to the circuit cable (controller and drone).

I therefore invite you to check that these two connections are made .

I can't get my DroneBot to fly, what should I do?

  1. First of all, I invite you to check all the points in the question “I followed the instructions but my DroneBot does not turn on, what should I do?”
  2. Then, if you haven't already done so, connect the circuit cable to the controller charging cable. Then turn on your controller. Push the left stick up and down. When you hear 2 beeps and the red light in the middle of the drone is solid, then your controller and your drone are paired.
  3. If you haven't done so yet, connect the circuit cable to your DroneBot's charging cable. Then push the 2 joysticks inwards at the same time. If the propellers are spinning, your DroneBot is successfully powered on and ready to fly (only when the lights are steady).
  4. For your DroneBot to take off, you only need to push the left joystick upwards. Then you can steer it from left to right with the right stick. All you have to do is experiment with different ways of flying.
  5. To land it, push the left stick down.
  6. Have fun !
