Frequently Asked Questions
Will I need help from an adult?
Yes , depending on your age and strength, you may need help from an adult.
I followed the instructions but my CarBot is not moving, what should I do?
This could be for several reasons:
- Because your batteries are not new and/or a little weak.
I therefore invite you to insert new batteries into your CarBot and its remote control.
- Because the orange sockets are too tight and your CarBot is not mobile enough.
I therefore invite you to slightly loosen the sockets .
- Because the connection wires are installed backwards.
I invite you to check the different wire connections using the explanations in the instructions and the assembly video. Also check that the wires are touching each other under the insulating tape .
- Because one or both controllers are incorrectly positioned.
I invite you to check that your controllers are correctly installed and wired as in the images and instructions given.
- Because the elastic is not positioned on the pulleys or is blocked in its movement.
I invite you to check that the elastic is correctly placed on the pulleys and that it is completely free from any movement.
- Because the pinion is either pushed too far or not far enough onto the motor rod.
I invite you to push in or remove the pinion a little so that the end of the pinion is at the same level as the end of the rod.
- Because the antennas are not properly in contact with the loop of the white wire.
I therefore invite you to check that the antennas of your CarBot and the controller are in contact with the loop of the white wire .
My CarBot makes a loud rotating noise, what should I do?
